***MY FAVE BOOKS: ***

demian by hermann hesse; i love this book so much and it is truly my favourite book ever. i won't be lying when i say it changed me and my life. it is just so exactly my taste and demian was the book that started my love for (german/swiss) classics. he is also my favourite author.
i also did my final paper about it and got a tetto with a sparrowhawk, i am OBSESSED.
if we were villains by m. l. rio; this was the first book that i read because people recommend it on instagram and tiktok. it did not dissapoint, i do think it lives up to the hype and expectations. the idea of basing this book / story on shakespeare was really well done and the writing was quite intruiging. i binge read this in two days, that's my personal best time.

vom ende der einsamkeit by benedict wells: this book is so human. the characters are bloody brilliant and have so much depth. i loved the way that it was so casual, so down-to-earth and so simply written. if you know german, i really recommend this book!.
the atlas six by olivie blake; the magic/power system is so ingeniuos. the characters are also all really, like really well written. i've understood all their actions and thoughts processes. i'm really excited for more. i've also loved the illustrations.
babel by r.f kuang; it was my most anticipated read of 2022, i've waited for atleast 6 month and it did NOT dissapoint. it was outstanding in literally everything. from characters to the plot to the magic system or the world they've lived in. i can only recommend for everyone who loves more sophisticated dark "fantasy" novels, it is fantatstic in and out.
